PILGRIM'S QUESTIONS

Question 1  Can there ever be true peace without ecumenism?Can there be true peace in Belfast, worthy of Christ, the Prince of Peace, if the Churches are not reconciled in respect and friendship?

Question 2 What is the value of our being with, in a spirit of faith and friendship,a Methodist/Church of Ireland/Presbyterian congregation for their Sunday Morning service?
What seeds of grace, justice and peace are being planted?
How, where, when will the Holy Spirit of God make them grow?

Question 3 How do we best share with our fellow Catholics our sense of being blessed and enriched through being with our Methodist/Church of Ireland/Presbyterian brothers and sisters at their worship on the Lord's Day?
How can we motivate more of them to "Come and See"?

Question 4 Since "Unity Pilgrimages" are a simple and easy to initiate lay project, what can we do to encourage and help develop groups of "Unity Pilgrims" in Catholic parishes and communities?

Question5 When we are present at a Methodist/Church of Ireland/Presbyterian celebration of Holy Communion, what is the right wayto honour the Holy Spirit at work among our brothers and sisters, drawing them into the mystery of salvation, and, at the same time, bear witness to the Catholic doctrine that Eucharistic communion presupposes agreement on the nature of the visible Church and the full reconciliation of ordained ministries.


Question 6 What is the right way to welcome pilgrims from the Methodist/Church of Ireland/Presbyterian congregations when they come in faith and friendship
to be with us at a celebration of the Eucharist in Clonard?
